I have to say almost if not all gwerians know what white waters is all about and let’s not forget the MSU students who have graced the university over the years. If you are travelling from the city centre (Gweru) make sure you get onto the Chivhu Road and travel for about 20 kilometres before you came to a turn which has a sign written Whitewaters….prepare to get lit up!!!! Perfect venue to host parties, weddings and all sorts of mischief for some, I know some of you are getting ideas, Whitewaters is idea for family, friends, classmates get togethers and you are guaranteed a life time of memories. Activities also include braaing which is the main one, boat cruises, playing in the water for those who can swim you can’t please please we don’t want to lose you…..thank you in advance. I have heard stories seen a lot of pictures of the crazy parties and normal get togethers that eventually get turned up. Most prefer to go there in the late afternoon to early evening just to enjoy the cool breeze and sunsets. For those wanting to stay overnight, accommodation is available in fact a wide variety of accommodation from the village lodge to midlands hotel, different types to cater for your different needs. I do recommend you ensure you have transport to and from seeing the waters especially night-owls including myself lol. Dress code is all up to but do bear in mind suit and tie is strictly for weddings unless you are one those. Please carry lots of liquids and MEAT so ensure maximum fun and enjoyment. You do need to carry money for the entrance fee amongst other necessities.
