The city of kings and Queens

The wonderful city of kings and Queens, my home Infact it’s the one that raised me after leaving zvishavane back in….well a long time ago. The cleanest city in Zimbabwe please don’t argue with me lol. Known for its rich history yes am talking about lobengula, Mzilikazi who added a bit of flavour to what is know as Bulawayo.
Approximately 400 plus kilometres away from the Capital city of Zimbabwe, Bulawayo is the second capital city of the country with two boarding towns within its grips yes am talking about Plumtree and beitbridge ps I am yet to travel to beitbridge but don’t worry it’s on my bucket list. The famous ZITF is an event proudly hosted by the city every year always in the month of April with thousands of people flocking from different parts of the country and world. Mine Entra is another prestigious event hosted the kings as different groups gather to share their mining knowledge.
Right I know some of you are itching to know about the entertainment corners of Kobulawayo. From my personal like personal thinkings I strongly believe the Ghetto will never dissapoint you, take a tour of the lokshini at night and trust you will come back with stories of a wild night….shout out to Nketa, Nkulumani, Mzilikazi, Luveve, Magwegwe, Gwabalanda and lastly Makokoba those places are lit. Don’t forget to pass by the hillside dams, 747, BAC, kumalo hockey stadium, Ascot racecourse and the trade fair grounds. Oh oh I am forgot there’s this shisha lounge corner main and Selborne street, you will thank me later. For art lovers the art gallery is also in the same hood down the street you will find the museum waiting for you.
Accommodation should be the least you should worry about in town alone you will find more than fives to bunk at namely Selbourne Hotel, Rainbow Hotel and bit out of the main city centre you will find the Holiday Inn, there are smaller places to stay at such Khumalo Guest house or better yet my personal favourite Airbnb.

As the battle again COVID-19 rages on please stay indoors and stay safe for those who have lost loved ones my most sincere condolences…..
